Hair means just as much as it did
years ago. It may mean a lot in a different way, but it still has
meaning. Way back when, hair was used as a symbol to tell which class a
woman was from. Hair was like a social status for women, like a label.
There were usually 3 main classes: poor, average, and rich. If you were
rich, your hair color was probably red or maybe even blonde. If you were
poor, your hair was dark brown or black. Hair was also used to tell if a
woman was single or married. Short and long hair also had a lot to do
with this.
Today, there are so many hairstyles.
Any hairstyle you can imagine, you can have it. You can have it long,
short, and any color you would like. Although every hairstyle someone
picks doesn’t look good on them, you can still get it. Hair is still
important today. Who would want to walk around with their hair all over
their head?
